OBAMA

Let’s be honest.  History was going to be made no matter which Democratic candidate was the nominee.  It was either going to be a woman or a black man.  All the cynics out there who want to downplay the “historic” nature of this race are merely that:  cynical.  As far as I am concerned, they can remain that way, but I will not.

In the end, of course, it is Barack Obama who will be the presidential candidate in the year of our Lord 2008.  This is history.  This is history.  This is history.
